  1. I think, the difference is that a bacterial infection is caused by bacteria, which are single-celled organisms. However, viral infection is caused by virus, which are smaller and require living hosts to multiply. Antibiotic Anna, is my answer somewhat correct?

  2. That is correct! A major difference between bacterial and viral infections is what they are caused by. Also, keep in mind that antibiotics are effective only against bacterial infections, but not viral ones!
